Brilliant Service by Sean and the team. We required some remedial work to our chimney following a structural engineers visit. Ahead of any work taking place, Sean was very thorough to ensure the proposed solution was correct and in accordance to building regulation requirements. He flagged up some concerns and was able to explain these clearly and provided supporting evidence, so that we could understand the issues. He was also happy to discuss these in detail with the structural engineer so that the proposed works could be refined and improved, so that they would be building regulation. It was a pleasure working with Sean and the Team and I would highly recommend them for any chimney related work, they have incredible knowledge of the specialist work and go that extra mile to ensure the job is done properly

Building control signed off with no issues and Sean was on site to explain everything to the building control inspector during a site visit while the works were in progress.

We felt reassured throughout. There was some unforseen complications along the way, this did mean our quote nearly doubled but Sean and his team were superb, unfazed by the whole process, fixing it with ease and this is something you do only once.

Sean and his 3 work colleagues were very polite, turned up on time and did an excellent job of inserting 2 very heavy steel beams and removing the chimney breast. Sean came with a team of tradesmen to take out an internal chimney top to bottom. Great service, and very friendly and approachable. He came over a number of times to check plans and make sure we knew what was involved. Couple of minor plumbing/electrical jobs came up during the demolition and he got it sorted straight away. Very efficient, got the whole job done in a couple of days including tidying up. Keen to use Sean again for future building work.

Happy to say the guys at Chimney Removal ltd turned up when they said they would to provide a quote, and they turned up when they said they would to start the job. A rare occurrence with workmen in this part of the country. Unfortunately they did get delayed on other jobs a few times, which inturn cause our job to take longer than expected, but this can be understood considering the nature of building work. However it would have been nice to have had better communication when this happened so we would know when someone would be coming to the house and when they wouldn't be. But at the end of the day the job got done and that is the important thing. We are happy with the results. They were grate guys and very friendly.

He happily collected the keys within a couple of days and went to view the job, along with contacting the relevant building control. Sean and Alex are really good. We wanted to partially open a chimney stack and Sean and Alex came here and we discussed thoroughly everything that we wished to do. They listen, they told us all the options possible, they also gave good suggestions on what could be done. They were always there to answer any questions and everything they said matched what the structural engineer said.
At the end, we decided to not open the chimney because it would give us a smaller area than we previously thought and it wouldn't look good or be worth it. Alex and Sean were very understandable and consistent. Not pushy. Good professionals all along.

We had a really good experience with Chimney Removal Ltd. Their team were on time, worked hard, and we're tidy and respectful on site. Scaffolding was setup in preparation for the work by a polite team who kept us across what they were doing and we're flexible with how it was setup to allow us access we needed etc. The job was a full, top to bottom chimney breast removal on ground, first and loft floors, and removal of the stack above roof. The chimney seemed to be quite a strong one but the team worked hard to remove and make good on the ceilings and floors, and did a great job tidying up. It's a dusty job, but they used extraction machines and seal off the work areas to limit dust in non work areas, there's always some, but the precautions really limited the excess dust, which was appreciated. Sean and his team then cam back to make good on the roof, build the brickwork back up to the new extended roof ridge, and retailing etc. Finishing it with a really neat job. Very pleased overall and would recommend.
